This is what i do for living,
i mean, what i learn from school,
in this Fashion Society subject (which is more like fashion history)
allows student to compare the historical costume with the modern one,
and after some research,
i found that fashion is actually RECYCLING,
new shapes that we found in latest fashion weeks,
is actually the ooold shape of the historical silhouettes.

Well, this subject is really fun and makes me know more about
how people really dress at that time,
silhouettes i've never seen before,
and the fun that i'm having when comparing these costumes.

Jakarta is Chung

When you ask about Jakarta's Mainstream streetsyle, i'll say Chung, Alexa Chung. 
The girls in Jakarta, especially high to junior high school student almost look so much like her. 
I mean, not in a really good way. 
No, the good news is they have chosen a good muse for their style,
but the bad news is, they all have THE SAME STYLE!
I mean, i can't even differentiate which one is Pricilla and which one is Anya. 
The hair is long - middle parted, the smile and poses are same when you look at their photos, the muses are same, the hot pants, the shoes, aah maybe this is why it's so hard to remember their names.

Well, this is the reason i begin to take pictures of the stylistas in Jakarta which have different muse and unique styles. 

So please don't say i haven't warn you, if you have a trip to Jakarta and find all the faces are the same.

Morning Sunshine

After having a long holiday of christmas and new year, my college days have begun.  I begin to wake up early & leaving my overslept routine behind (that i've been doing in the entire holiday). 
One day when i was sitting on the bus early in the morning, i just realized how the word ' morning' really means. 

No, Seriously.

The sunshine, the breezing wind, the cold air.
Don't you see that? It's a one beautiful morning that i really miss.  And actually the 'beautiful morning' really happens everyday, every single day in my life, but i always miss it.

I hope tomorrow i'll be the first person in the morning who will see the most beautiful sunshine in the entire world.

i've been reading "Harry Potter : The Deathly Hallows" these few days
and it's been fascinating!
i knoow i knoow it sounds nerdy and lame and so 2009
but i admit, i really love fiction stories and novels and movies
and literature
so this novels i think really emphasize what i really love about literature.

By the way, the movie of The Deathly Hallows part 1 is really good
love it.

One of my biggest dreams is, i reaaaally wanna work at ELLE Magazine Indonesia.  ELLE Magazine is one of the most influential magazine in Indonesia's Fashion Industry.  It is youthful, creative and very inspiring.   I wish i can be a part of ELLE someday, to be a fashion editor and to be one of The Most Influential Woman in the Fashion Industry.

or do some of them have affairs with others? like having sex with their partner in the office while his wife wait at home washing dishes?
Is it complicated?

Is it addictive? the sex life?
Am i asking to much question about this?
Can i get married for 3 hours (not in a real life) just to know how it's like to be married?

Pekan Fashion Jakarta

Jakarta Fashion Week is the biggest fashion moment in Indonesia.  JFW this year was held on this November in Pacific Place, Jakarta.  And as the event goes by, people were dressing up beautifully, i mean beautifully branded, it's not really usual in this country, since Jakarta is not a capital of world fashion, but we're working on it.  Because i think today's fashion in Indonesia is really as good as foreign countries.  And we also have our signature too, with a 'touch' of ethnic pattern and embroidery, Indonesia's fashion is ready to reach the top!

my further dream

Sometimes i feel like,
i forgot how to dance,
how to make a move and how to express myself through dancing.
Dancing is my second passion,
the  next goal i would archieve (hopefully).
Dancing is my further dream. 
i might not have the best skills or techniques,

that i could be the best dancer ever, in both contemporary and hip hop genre
